YEAR What happened
2001 Lu Wang graduate from Computer Science department in U.B.C.
2004 Lu Wang received Master degree and started his own company. The company was named
Lu Wang Corporation Ltd. to avoid copyright/patent infringement lawsuits.
2009 Lu Wang received his Ph.D and had his first big game hit.
2011 Lu Wang Corporation building on previous games success began to expand into
database and internet/web business, as well as clothing, toys and other merchantising
bussiness.
2013 Lu Wang Corporation (LWC) passes the $500 million dollar mark (all dollar figures are
constant 2000 dollar). LWC begin moving into office suite applications.
2014 LWC release its first complete office suite along with a new desktop system.
2016 Due to the popularity of its desktop system, LWC completed and release a new operating
system based on its desktop system. It was very successful and grabbed a 30% market share.
LWC passes the $1 billion dollar mark.
2020 LWC nearly dominate the PC operating system market and markets for database, games
and office suite applications. LWC has also grabbed a foothold in security and network
market. LWC passes $2 billion dollar mark.
2021 LWC won a contract to design a new integrated communication system for NASA to link
its space station and satellite network together. LWC also resisted moves by other big
companies' hostile takeovers as well as moves by Canadian government to make LWC a public
trading company.
2022 LWC began to expand into space techology fields as well as weapon research. LWC also
passes the $3 billion dollar mark.
2023
  • LWC again expanded, this time into biochemistry field.
  • LWC also begin desert reclaimation projects in Africa and China.
  • LWC also signed multibillion contract with China to develope a
nation wide communication and computer network, and future space
    shuttle and space station research.
  • To have more secure transfer of information between its regional offices,
LWC started its own cable/telephone division with its own separate communication network.
  • Also, concerned with environmental contamination, especially
from fossil fuels, LWC begin research into alternative source
of energy to replace current fossil fuel burning electrical generators.
  • LWC's networth also jumped to $10 billion with the contracts with China.
2024 LWC completed the NASA's integrated communication systems and has won new contracts in
designing a new space shuttle.
2026 LWC completed the new space shuttle design. As well, its biochemistry research has indicated
the possibility of creating a drug that would halt or nearly stop the body's aging process.
LWC has also completed research into new forms of electrical generators and begin building them around
the world. The communication network and space stations design are also near completion with China.
LWC's networth climbed to $15 billion.
2027 Due to increasing attempts of information thefts from other companies, LWC formed a
security force and a counter-intelligence group to protect its properties. Concerned with
the possibility that LWC might engage in weapon research with China, US attempted to pass
legislations that prevent LWC to do any bussiness or hold any assests in China. LWC responded
by turning off all electrical generators and commercial communication networks it owned in US.
Faced with total lack of power and communication capabilities, US gaved in and stopped trying
to interfere with LWC's bussiness.
2028 venus
LWC begin planning for Venus terraforming. LWC also begin research into propulsion and new types of power systems. LWC's networth increases to $30 billion.
2029
Breakthrough in anti-aging drug, however the drug is extremely expensive and require any
person taking it to undergo extensive gene alternation surgeries for the drug to work.
Desert reclaimation projects are completed in China and Africa. LWC lunches probe to Moon
to search for possible mineral resources (Earth's mineral resource has been depleted to
dangerously low levels.
2030 Initial plans for Venus terraforming completed and LWC begin preparation for phase 1 of
the terraforming which is expected to last about 100 years. Canadian government tried to
break up LWC using anti-trust laws. LWC respond by moving the company to China and deregistered
the company from the Canadian bussiness commission so that LWC is no longer a Canadian company.
With the massive exodus of about 900,000 jobs, Canada plunged into a deep recession. LWC also
completed several weapon research contracts and its worth jumped to $40 billion dollars.
2032
As part of Venus terraforming project, LWC begin to build an inter-plantary space shuttles and a permanent space station in geo-stationary orbit for shuttle/cargo transfers and ship construction. Finding promising sites on Moon for mining, LWC begin to built Lunar bases on the far side of the moon.
2034
Sabotages start occuring on LWC's space station construction. LWC's intelligence believe Conway corporation was responsable for the acts. The space station plan was rolled back from a full scale docking/cargo transfer/ship construction/habitation station with a populatin of 10,000 to just a docking/cargo transfer station with a crew of less than 1000. Lunar mining stations are completed on the moon and begin mining operations. To prevent further sabotages, security on both the space station and lunar bases are stepped up. The first fleet of probes carrying specially genetically made algea which are resistent to UV rays and mutations arrive at Venus and release the algea into Venus' atmosphere.
2035 LWC biochemistry divisions succeed in a finding a cure for AIDS virus and Ebola bacteria. Also, two new
anti-biotics were found that are effective against the dreaded superbug. New gene therapy techniques are also
found. After decades of hard work by LWC, many third world countries finally raised its standard of living to
a level where food, clothing, and housing is no longer an everyday concern, and children can go to school instead
of having to work in factories to feed themselves. For his hardwork and dedication to the poor, Lu Wang was awarded
the Nobel Peace Prize. LWC's networth passes the $100 billion mark.
2036
LWC completes its space station. Research into new types of propulsion systems and power system are completed. LWC begining to build new probes that are miniture automatic science research stations to explore Jupitor and Saturn.
